Installed the unit a few days ago. Got a soil moisture meter and filled in all of the details in the app for each of my 6 zones. Calendar in the app shows rain in the forecast (correctly).
However, the schedule it created wants to water all six zones FOUR times in a row tomorrow, with the first round lasting an hour and a half.
I turned off smart watering, hoping a firmware update will resolve – but I’m not certain if the logic for Smart Watering is done in the Orbit cloud or locally on the device (so it might not matter).
Anyone else having issues where the recommended watering schedule is excessive, even with rain in the forecast?!
Thanks,
Myron
If you go to a zones smart details under watering schedule adjustments you can decrease the runtime of a watering cycle. Also if you provide us with your mac address then we can take a look at your timer.
