Tagged: rain delays, smart watering
I have smart watering turned off and am still getting automatic rain delays. I have notifications turned on for rain delays but I am not being notified of rain delays. I only find out when I go to Home on the APP.
I’m having a similar problem. I just discovered (when the grass started going dormant on me) that my water has not been running, even though it says it is in the actual timer. I get the notification telling me that the program has finished (even though it wasn’t going off), however if I go into the app it says “watering is suspended because of a rain sensor.” I live in Southern California, haven’t seen a drop of rain in months, its 105 degrees outside with 0% chance of rain and 0% chance of rain the forecast. I don’t understand and its rather frustrating not realizing something is wrong until my grass turns yellow.
I think this happened to me, but I can’t see how to find my rain delay history. All I know is several zones haven’t run for days, and the unit is claiming the moisture level is 100% as my grass and bushes are dying. Makes me so angry. These Orbit products are so buggy.
