ParticipantMy bhyve smartwatering was working for a few weeks and then just stopped. When soil moisture levels were at 0 for nearly a week I had to start watering manually. Still no sign of planned water days, even when the moisture levels get low. My mac address is 44:67:55:02:D9:80
I have seen many other note this problem, but no solutions that I have seen.
Any help would be appreciated.Spread the love!June 18, 2018 at 11:12 pm #3544Ryan

ParticipantThank you, for everyone’s benefit, can you explain what you did, or what is required for new users? There is a lot of elusive information in the forum, but no real answers. Please give us confidence in this system that we have invested in.

ParticipantI just updated your firmware for you from our system. firmware updates happen automatically as long as your connected to internet when we send out the updates. Your timer was still at debug I believe, witch is the what all timers are shipped out with.

ParticipantMy smart system still does not seem to be working. After another week, it still has not scheduled any watering. The water level of all zones is below 10 percent. Any suggestions? I am becoming less and less confident that this ‘Smart’ water works. Please help. My mac address is 44:67:55:02:D9:80

Participant@Hogans, your catch cup information is interfering worth your smart watering schedule. You will need to run your test again. Make sure to watch our video and read the catch cup instructions to receive accurate readings. the links to both are in the app under in a zones smart details under catch cups. As of right now a schedule is set, but again you will want to run your catch cup test again, and edit your schedule using watering schedule adjustments.

ParticipantI have this exact same problem. We went away for a few days during a heat wave without realizing the problem and not having internet access so we lost several shrubs as a result. Smart watering had been working fine for weeks and now won’t schedule watering for any zone regardless of continued high temperatures and 0% moisture status. Also noticed a new strange behavior. When selecting a zone, instead of counting up from 0% to whatever the current moisture level is, it starts counting up from a large negative number like -1350% until it gets to zero then stops.
We are having to either manually start the zones or set manual programs. Double checked all settings. Everything is as it was when the system was working.

Firmware: 0025
Hardware: WT25-0001Hogans, did they ever fix your problem? If so, how?
Please and thank you!

Participant@ChadLayne, I’ve updated your firmware. This will help your issue, however you will want to check your catch cup information as well, and make sure you have no restrictions set interfering with your smart watering schedule.

ParticipantI have a similar issue. My sprinklers were due to come on this morning via smart watering but the time passed and the speinklers did not initiate. I am able to manually turn them on via the smart phone app but smart watering does not initiate. My mac address is 44:67:55:12:D2:E3
