I have 15 zones and I am using the smart watering setting and have not programmed anything. Most zones are running at 20 or 25 minutes (which seems like a very long time) Two zones are not watering at all..they show zero minutes. Seems like something is wrong ?? My address is
44:67:55:01:97:97.
I would also like to know how the soil moisture feature works. Does it get input once by the user and then static? Or will it change because it is “smart”?
Thank you.

Hello GRLSKR,
I’ve looked at your timer and noticed you don’t have plant types set in your system. Having those set will show improvement in the Smart Programming of the timer.
The soil moisture will adjust itself based off of your plant type, soil type, and weather. It updates on a nightly basis.
I notice every time I get a smart watering event, I get 2 short watering cycles in succession.
Such as at 7:45 zone-1 26 min zone-5 7 min immediately followed at 8:19 with zone-1 26 min zone-5 7 minutes again.
No matter what zones or times are called for by smart watering, they are repeated as soon as the cycle is done. Is this normal? My controller device is MAC:44:67:55:00:1D:52
Hello Paul,
This is pretty standard. The idea is to water only what the soil can take in at a single given time, and then repeat it to give it that little extra boost. This reduces runoff which is a very large waste in current irrigation.
