I have 6 zones. 4 grass and 2 flower beds. Since setting up the system 2 weeks ago the system has struggled. It has been watering when there is no need for it. I have been updating my soil moisture content and also have a rain sensor installed. On sunday I updated my soil moisture content to 90% for all the grass as the soil in my area does not drain very well. Monday the system watered my grass for 22 minutes twice in the morning. I had a river running out of my yard. So far all the smartwater does is waste water…lots of it. Today it was scheduled to water again with a approaching storm and 80% chance of heavy rain.
Where does the system come up with watering times? 22 min an hour apart with 90% soil moisture is insane.
Can you post your timer’s Mac Address so we can check the settings?
I don’t feel comforatable posting the MAC address in a public forum. EMial or contact me privatel for this info.
