How does B-Hyve know the moister level of the lawn? I don’t know what to set it to when it asks me after setting up a zone.

This doesn’t fully address your question, and I actually wonder the same thing. It seems like an arbitrary setting, and I haven’t seen any documentation saying how to use it.
This is based off of all of the information you’ve put into the zone. Soil type, sprinkler type, and the amount of sun your zone gets all go into effect. It will also take into account your weather information (rainfall, UV index). Its not going to be 100% accurate, but it will be really close. We are looking into adding moisture sensors, but that isn’t coming any time soon.
