What happens is that no one from the Orbit company is responsible for the problems of the equipment and the app. It’s a shame, they scammed us, they dumped us, the system works worse every day. It already happened to me with another company, Parrot and its Asteroid Smart, which has fewer functionalities every day, and finaly these companies force you to buy another product and discard the one you paid for. If I’m wrong, someone please correct me, and If there is someone there, pleas help us, im loosing hope.

    Check out https://techsupport.orbitbhyve.com/

I think they’re working on an interface which can bind all devices together, to work as an actual controller. But yeah, I’ve lost hope too and have abandoned expanding to my backyard with this platform, and looking at a costly mains pressure solenoid system at much greater expense and difficulty installing. 🙁

I am glad I am not alone with the problems I have been having with support. I called support to tell them about my problem. The person who answered the phone told me she would put in a trouble ticket and didn’t need any screen shots of the problem I was having. I was very suspicious. After not hearing from them for two weeks, I decided to email tech support. Two weeks later, no response. I called and they said they didn’t have any record of a ticket being opened. I forwarded the emails to the person. He was very nice. He linked my emails to trouble ticket and contacted his supervisor. I was told the developers look at this forum and only talk to tech support to see if there is a widespread problem. After reading the reports, clearly I am not the only one having the problems. I am very disappointed that the developers aren’t responding on here and I am seeing posts from months ago with the same problem I am having. I find it even more troubling that the developers told customer service that if you have an iphone, they have no way of getting customers beta updates to see if that solves the problem. I had to tell them about Apple’s Test Flight where you can have 10,000 beta testers! If these developers aren’t going to test their code properly, they should give some key customer’s Test Flight access.

The problems are getting worse. Tech support emailed me and I reply to the email address immediately and it says they are having a problem on their end or the email address is not in use. I then tried to use their web form to reach customer service and it doesn’t work properly with Safari or Chrome on my Mac. The drop down menus don’t work. I guess I will have to call and complain again. Clearly, no one at Orbit is reading this forum.
