Seems the output thread sizes of the old and new timers are different!

The original faucet timer (supplied with a garden hose adapter) look to have a G3/4″ (3/4″ BSP) thread – but the new one have a coarser thread. I think the new thread is UN 3/4-12.

In any event the hose adapters I have and can get here in the UK don’t fit.

Can anyone confirm exactly what the thread size/type is on these new XD faucet timers please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Ok I think I’ve worked it out…

The new XD timers the outlet thread appears to be 3/4″ Male Garden Hose Thread (MHT), which is a coarser thread than the 3/4″ thread on the original range of faucet timers.

So I need a 3/4″ female hose thread (FHT) adapter to make a connection from the timer.

Metric / BSP is so much easier 😂
