Community Home › Community › B-Hyve APP Forum › Timer is running a program that is turned off
My timer continues to run a saved program even though this program is not active. Other non-active saved programs are not running, the bug only seems to affect one.
The program does not show up in the watering calendar, but it runs as if it were active and I get push notifications on my phone that it has finished. It shows up in watering history but the time is off by 1hr (shows as starting at 8am instead of 7am).
Any suggestions as to why this is happening? I can delete the program that shouldn’t be running, but that defeats the purpose of saved programs and also I’d like to understand what is causing this bug and if it can be fixed so I can avoid it in the future, as it is causing over-watering.
Hello Leeann, I’d like to look at your timer, can you provide me with the MAC address of the timer?
Thanks Stephen but I already deleted the program to stop the extra watering. If the problem reoccurs I will repost.
I have a similar issue – I edited the program and changed it to only water on Wednesdays (instead of Mon-Wed-Fri), yet it still waters on the old schedule. It also does NOT respond to when I tell it to stop in the middle via the app.
Help!
@Drosselli can you provide me with a MAC ID of your timer so that I can take a look?
Here? I emailed it back. Not sure if that came through.
Here is my mac address: 44:67:55:01:41:71 Please advise.
Any update? I turned off the program at the timer console for the moment till we figure this out.
Thanks!
@DROSSELLI I’ve emailed you, but your timer doesn’t have a full connection to the server. Do a power cycle of the timer and then you should be able to re-send the program to your timer and the timer will reflect the changes made.
