ParticipantMy 21004 turned on by itself on Saturday and didn’t turn off. I tried pressing the button on the unit 1x and it flashed but I did not hear the valve close and it continued to water. I tried to run a manual program for 2 minutes and the app showed it start and finish but it did not stop the water running.
MAC Address: 44:67:55:10:74:71
Firmware: 32
Hardware: HT25-0000Previously, (a week ago) I was not able to get it into “auto” mode. Appeared to resolve for the week but now does not work.
Please help.

ParticipantHello Lcookeii, please try connecting to your timer via Bluetooth. If you receive a message stating the time is incorrect power cycle your timer. After that reconnect via Bluetooth again, and set your program through your Bluetooth connection (edit, and save it again). You may also want to resave your address as well. Then you can reconnect your devices to your hub. Please let me know should your issues continue after that.

ParticipantI tried these steps last night. When I connected by bluetooth, I did not get an error message (I have frequently tried to troubleshoot by connecting by bluetooth). I tried cycling the power (no change) and then pulling the battery (no change). About 15 minutes later as I was trying to troubleshoot by running manual watering, the valve shut off.
I am now not able to control the sprinkler by the app. If I start a manual watering, it starts by showing me the “countdown” timer but the water doesn’t flow and about 45 seconds later the countdown timer just disappears on the app.
Please help — this is very unreliable.

ParticipantHello lcookeii, I’m sorry but there is not much else I can do from this end, other than firmware updates. Please call our product support line for further trouble shooting with an agent. Thank you!

Your timer already has the latest firmware.
It was not connected at the time I checked it, if this is a common issue we have seen good results with adding a WiFi range extender to your network and placing it as close to the timer or as close to the middle between your timer and router as possible.
If you’re having other issues please start a new thread with as much detail as possible or contact our tech support team directly.

Thank you!

Are you still having problems with your watering?
I noticed that there is was an update available for your Hub so I pushed it and it looks like it took.
Let us know if you are still having any problems.
Thank you!

ParticipantJosh, many thanks for the follow up.
I had a significant failure of the unit and customer service replaced it.
While we had plenty of rain here in the NE over the last 3 weeks and haven’t needed to water, the unit appears to be working fine.
