    I recently bought the B-hyve timer. I have a timer model #94550, MAC 44:67:55:01:A6:1F

Yesterday I partially got the device to communicate with my Android phone. On my phone I could see the Orbit network and with the app I was able to continue with setting my wifi network – however the unit could not see my home wifi network and I never managed to get it connected to my wifi network.

So today I decided to move the unit to my office right next to my home wifi router. But today the unit will not pair at all. When I set the unit to OFF and press reset the device goes into pairing mode but only for 2 or 3 seconds and then it reverts back to OFF. My phone is not seeing the Orbit wifi network at all. In the app when it says it is searching for the B-hyve device it seems to be ok because it then gives me the message about checking the Wifi signal strength. However when I press ok and then press the large orange butto to start pairing nothing happens – the app says it is scanning for timer networks – but obviously it cannot find any because there is no Orbit wifi network.

I have read the posts in this forum and have done a factory reset by holding the reset button for 10 seconds, and I have done the grey ribbon cable procedure, and I have power cycled the unit several times. So I now do not see what else I can do to resolve this problem. Please advise.

I live in Poland, so if you want me to ring support please provide me with a phone number in Europe.

    Regards

Thanks for the response, in fact I saw the email address inside the timer and sent the above text to the europe office, they replied stating that they will send my query to the US office.
