I am replacing my current timer with the B-Hyve 6 valve controller. I have one Common wire on my current controller but the B-Hyve has two terminals marked with ‘COM’. Which terminal should be used (to the right or left of the numbered terminals)?
Hey JohnnyB,
You can use either terminal.
My question is related. My existing timer has one COM connection with two wires attached to it … one COM wire is the same gauge as the zone wires, the other COM wire is a smaller gauge. The bhyve timer has two COM connections. How should I connect the two COM wires to the bhyve’s two COM connections?
I am replacing my current Orbit Control Star Timer with a b-hyve. I have 2 questions:
1, There are 2 com ports on the Control Star and each has a wire coning out of it. Which COM ports on the B-Hyve do I connect them to.
2. How do I wore the Orbit External Rain Sensor to the unit?
