Hello – could someone tell me if there is a tolerance threshold regarding the length of irrigation piping and number of drippers used on an irrigation system connected to 1 B-Hyve Faucet Timer device? I have installed 100 meters of 16/13.6mm Polyethylene Pipe with 100 X 3mm PE Irrigation Dripper Pipes connected, and the system seems to work fine. I now want to extend the irrigation network with an additional 100 meters of the same 16/13.6mm Polyethylene Pipe and around 70 additional 3mm Dripper Pipes. I understand that the core factor is probably water pressure (which is between 3-6 bar, averaging around 3.8bar daily), but before I buy the additional pipework I wanted to ask all you experts about this.

It’s moreso the flow rate that’s of importance. Check the flow rate of your drippers, it should say how many litres per hour from each dripper, work out how much you can use. 100 metres sounds like a lot. If your drippers aren’t individually pressure regulated to get uniform drip rates, you might want to measure flow rate using buckets from drippers at each end, and see if you really are getting uniform flow. Either way, this has nothing to do with the BHyve controller.
