I have not been able to disable the rain delay after turning off smart watering. This morning, I woke to find my system rain delayed, yet there is 0% rain according to the STORM app for the next several days. This has been very frustrating! Also, I don’t get any notifications that a rain delay has been started, even though ALL my notifications are turned on.

Please provide me with your MAC ID of your timer and I’d be able to pull that up and find out what is going on.

Jaynewick, I’ve updated your timer, when I went into it, it still showed that the rain delays were active. They are not now and you shouldn’t see them anymore unless there is a rain delay programmed.

Hello janewick, It says it was suspended because of a rain sensor. If you have one hooked up to your timer then you could either just do a manual watering or disconnect it. If you do not have one installed then you will want to hold down the rain delay button on your timer until it shows sensor off on the display.

First, I don’t have a rain sensor. It is being activated because of the weather station.

Second, I try to run the program manually, but it won’t allow me with the rain delay. I have to set up each zone to run when a rain delay is present.

Third, I need to be able to override this remotely. The app will not allow me to override the rain delay, so your solution is unacceptable.

Have you tried holding down the rain delay button? does it read sensor off or on? If it shows off when you do it, it will mean that it was on and just turned off. In which case it would explain why you are having this issue. If you are unwilling to try there is nothing else we can do for you.

I did it on the timer in the garage and it turned off the sensor. Am I to assume that I would need to do this each time the rain sensor is set as on and I want to override it? I want to note that is not my reluctance to do that, only that it will not be possible for me to do it when I am traveling (which is frequently). I bought this timer for its ability to be managed via an app. If I cannot turn off the sensor via the app, then I don’t have the control I need when I travel.

    Thanks for your continued support.
