ParticipantI just purchased a smart hose timer with hub and a separate hose timer. I was able to get the hose timer and hub to pair but the separate
hose timer tried to update firmware which failed and then tried to “restart”. Now timer just blinks white and wont connect on blue tooth or wifi. It appears stuck trying to update with a blinking white light and wont responded to any resets (pushing buttons 5 time, pulling out batteries). This appears to be a problems others have had.Spread the love!May 1, 2018 at 6:21 pm #1358Stephen
KeymasterHello Frollins3, in your case, you should be able to update the timer simply by going into your app and locating the timer (settings > devices > this timer) and select “Update Firmware”.

ParticipantI cant update the firmware as once the first download went into error the timer cant be discovered via wifi or blue tooth on the application. When you try to add it via the application it doesn’t find it. The timer is stuck blinking white like it is still trying to update which is preventing it from being discovered on wifi or blue tooth. Pulling batteries out or pushing the power button several times will not reset it.
Very frustrating as everything else works (Hub, other hose timer and 6 station )

ParticipantI’m having the same problem. I purchased two timers yesterday and 1 of them is up and running the other is stuck blinking white lights. I can’t get it to pairing mode no matter what I’ve tried as the previous user stated. What can I do to put this device?

Participanti had to return it qnd get a new one. The update failed three times before it finally completed. These things are “buggy” for sure and support isnt much assistance

ParticipantI seem to be having the same issue with one of my new faucet timers. Seems to be stuck in update mode? Flashing white light every 2 sec no matter what I do. Is there anything I can do about this?

KeymasterIf you’re having an issue with the timers not updating, you should be able to go back into the app in settings > devices > your timer > and update. If you still cannot get it to update, please contact us at [email protected].

ParticipantYou obviously didn’t read my original post as the unit could not be detected after the first failure to update as I tried to reload the entire thing since it was frozen. Also, to get a response from support 10+ days after logging the issue with this type of suggestion is not impressive. Take a look as other people are having the same issue.

ParticipantHave you tried pushing the button five times in a row? What about removing, and replacing the batteries?

ParticipantYes I tried that. I’ve also tried removing the batteries. When I push 5 times nothing happens the light keeps blinking. When I push and hold nothing happens…it doesn’t even turn off or on. When I remove the batteries the lights stop (of course) but when I put them back, the lights come right back on…Please help me with this my plants are dieing!

Participant@drefasho, I’ve updated the firmware for your hub, but you’ll need to update the firmware on your timer. By going into your app and locating the timer (settings > devices > this timer) and select “Update Firmware”. If you can’t get it to connect after resetting it try deauthorizing the device and re-pairing it.
