I changed my lawn heads from spray heads to Rainbird mini-rotary heads. R-Van type. Seem to be much better. But after restting my catch cups and re-doing them for the lawn, then going to smart watering. it setting the system to water for 30 plus minute son each zone. Even the soil moisture reads almost 100%. So my question is, is Smart watering really smart? If an admin reads this and wants to look at my system I presently have the system in manual mode as I’m afraid to run it in smart mode. My mac address is 44:67:55:03:9E:C4
@mroe11517 Rotor heads typically take a lot longer to put the same amount of water down than a single pop up head because they are constantly rotating, while standard pop up heads are stationary and constantly putting a spray of water out. It is quite normal to have run times of 20+ minutes on a rotor sprinkler head zone.
