I live in Florida so thunderstorms tend to be periodic, but almost every day has a high probability of rain. The problem is that those high probabilities are causing rain delays, but it hasn’t actually rained.

As a result my lawn isn’t getting enough water. I’d prefer not to go back to manual watering because then when it does actually rain, I use extra water and it defeats the purpose of having purchased this timer. I’m kind of amazed that the timer has no way to track whether it actually rained in a specific location or not.

I asked B Hive about this last summer and they said they were making improvements, but I don’t see any… is there a firmware update that can improve this? My device is on Firmware version 31.

Hello louloizides, there I actually a firmware update for your timer. However I would need you mac address to update it. Also you will want to make some changes in the weather adjustments page. This can be found by going to your app settings> devices> select your device> weather adjustments. Here you can change the weather station that your timer is puling data from, adjust the rain delay percentage threshold, and adjust the rain delay depth threshold.
