My Unit continues to run like a champ – Thanks for the Support!Spread the love!May 13, 2018 at 3:13 pm #1752haigpointbhyveParticipant
My timer is having issues similar.
Will work properly for a few days then, disconnect from WiFi and freeze at that day and time. Unplugging it and plugging it back in gets it back up and running. When this happens when I’m out of town my yard will die this summer in the desert heat of Las Vegas. I have over 150 trees and shrubs and need a reliable system.
Can this be updated to keep time even when it looses WiFi or am I better off going back to a WiFi free timer. This is my second b·hyve timer.
Here is my timer info

Mine kept doing this and now the Wi-Fi signal icon is gone. Mac address 44:67:55:02:7c:cfSpread the love!May 13, 2018 at 6:01 pm #1758krazfkrParticipant
I’m having similar issue. Unit says it is connected to WiFi, I can connect via Bluetooth, but has FLASHING EXCLAMATION next to WiFi and app says unit is Offline. Manual states Flashing Exclamation means it is connected to WiFi but can’t communicate with Orbit servers. Driving me nuts. Tried troubleshooting techniques listed in manual, online, etc. Tried to call customer service during normal MT working hours and spent at least 20 minutes on hold twice. For the 3 weeks it was working it seemed to work great. Don’t want to remove it and return it, but almost there. Hopefully you can update my firmware as well and it will solve the issue.

HELLO, I’VE UPDATED YOUR FIRMWARES. if YOU’RE STILL HAVING ISSUES TRY UNPLUGGING THE RIBBON CABLE COMING FROM THE DISPLAY PANNEL HOLD IT FOR 5SEC, AND THEN PLUG IT BACK IN. then YOU CAN TRY A FACTORY RESET BY PUTTING THE TIME INTO OFF, AND HOLDING DOWN THE RESET BUTTON. You can also try deauthorizing your timer and repairing it. After that if you are still having issues please contact us.Spread the love!May 14, 2018 at 8:57 pm #1794tayovmParticipant

As of this morning my B-Hyve was offline again. I went through the unplugged/plug, then turn off & repair a couple times with no luck. Looked through this feed and found the unplug the ribbon cable info so did that plus the unplug from power and repair and so far I’m back online. I live in the desert and depend on this timer to keep my yard watered, green and growing. Please let this be the last time this happens I have travel coming up and would hate to see years of hard work and $$$ spent die from another offline issue.Spread the love!May 18, 2018 at 7:12 pm #1965
Apparently, there is no support. No email, can’t connect to LIVE CHAT. Very disappoint. NEVER buy b-hyve orbit product.Spread the love!May 18, 2018 at 8:28 pm #1984RyanParticipant
@Oliver dvandekraats robmehrer and Wtrchaser, I’ve updated the firmware on all of your timers, and everything should run smoothly from here on out. I not please let us know. Also the servers were down today and yesterday due to maintenance. We do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. Thank you for your patience.Spread the love!May 18, 2018 at 9:12 pm #1994
Hello Ryan, Thank you for the updates. I can tell the firmware version has been updated from DEBUG-0010 to 0023 by checking b-hyve iPhone APP. I will let TIMER running for a week to see whether it will be off-line by itself again or not. I will come back FORUM giving update for the status again. The unit is good product if it works fine.
One more question, I saw other topic mentioned the newest firmware version is 0031. Would it necessary that we need the newest version?Spread the love!May 19, 2018 at 2:38 pm #2009Ufg8rsParticipant
