Community Home › Community › B-Hyve Indoor/Outdoor Timer › Wifi symbol not available
Hi all, I am having trouble with my new Orbit B-Hyve 6 station controller. I am Unable to get the orbit wifi to show up at all in my wifi settings of my iPhone 8 Plus and my android tablet. Furthermore, the wifi symbol in the top left is completely unresponsive to any resets at all. The Bluetooth symbol next to the wifi symbol occasionally flashes with an exclamation point next to it but I cannot get it to talk to my devices at all. Can someone please help?
Please help.
@Chrisyates If your timer has a Bluetooth signal, that means it will not broadcast a Wi-Fi connection because it uses Bluetooth to pair instead of Wi-Fi. You have a Gen 2 timer, Gen 1 timers use Wi-Fi to connect to our server.
Here is a link to our guide on connecting a Gen 2 unit to the internet: https://orbitcomm.wpengine.com/help-center/?guideTitle=Pairing-Indoor%2FOutdoor-B-hyve-Controller—ABCD-Version-(video)&guideId=155
