Tagged: wifi connection reached network
I have set up my b-hyve 57950 indoor/outdoor timer successfully (connected to wifi, set up my zones, tested running the zones using the app etc). The device is currently set to OFF.
In the app on the homescreen on the right hand side there is currently a question mark icon. When I click on it a modal dialog appears stating “Your timer cannot be reached. Is is possible that there is a network connection issue …. (much more text follows)”:
I am still able to use my app to test the zones, despite this message. I have not yet tried to set up either Smart Watering or manual programs — does this message mean something is wrong with my setup and the timer won’t be able to turn on the sprinklers when I do start running the programs? Or is this message there because the devices are set to OFF instead of Auto?
Thanks!
Hello KDALFONSO, please provide me with the MAC ID of your timer and I’d be happy to take a look at it and ensure everything is running properly.
MAC ID is 44:67:55:02:81:19, thanks!
Ah, thanks Stephen but nevermind, I answered my own question. I finally had a need to switch my system from OFF to Auto today so that the system will run this week. Once I switched the system to Auto, the question mark icon on the home page disappeared, so that message showing up does seem to be related to the device being set to OFF mode.
Perhaps in the future this message could be updated to avoid confusion. Thanks again.
