Recently my old Apple AirPort Extreme router failed. I replaced it with a Linksys MX5500 Series Mesh system. There are several devices (Thermostats, Solar Inverter) that work correctly on 2.4 GHz. However, when I use the App to update the WiFi settings: nothing. Even set up a dedicated 2.4 GHz router: nothing. In both cases I had waited several minutes for the network list to populate. The iPhone has no problem connecting to the unit’s setup network and to either WiFi network. The mesh node and the old router are less than 15′ away. The phone indicates max signal strength in both cases. What am I missing?

    Good morning Schamschula,
I have the same problem as you. For me, the issue happened gradually: the timer started to disconnect and reconnect (losing wifi signal), until it stopped connecting at all, then I decided to repeat the wifi binding process again. I tried everything as you described. Since that seems that Orbit technician don’t answer anymore, please can you describe if and how did you solve the problem. Thank you very much
