B-HYVE app stopped connecting to my device after iPhone iOS 18.3.2 update

I turned off my iPhone and turned it back on. My iOS app still would not connect to my device.
I unplugged my B-HYVE device and plugged it back it. It reconnected to my WiFi. My iOS app still would not connect to my device.
I logged into my B-HYVE Dashboard using a browser on a computer and can connect to my device there and see it there.
I selected to RESET my B-HYVE device using a web browser connection on a computer and my iOS app still will not connect to my device.

If someone at Orbit would fix your app so it will work with the new version of iOS 18.3.2 I would really appreciate it.

I used the Smart Watering feature and it works well for the most part but at times comes up short on what we need for watering sometimes so I need the iPhone iOS app to work so that I can run my stations manually when needed.

I wish there were a way to open a ticket with tech support at Orbit. Sadly, the app does not work as that used to provide a way for customers to send information to the via Help but since the app comes up and the wheel just keeps spinning, it is useless in this particular case. Too bad all of these companies like Apple and Orbit do not work together better to keep everything working seamlessly. I suspect they are all doing their best and it is just beyond their abilities. Who knows, maybe all of this A.I. stuff can get smart enough one day to accomplish something like this automatically. In the mean time, like they say in the military, hurry up and wait.

I think I found the problem. It’s with Notifications being OFF.

If you have the Notifications turned OFF, the app doesn’t get past the loading screen. App functions after you turn notifications back on. Silly bug, but I was at least able to get past the opening screen and use the app.

    Hope this helps.

I found that simply toggling notifications to “on” wasn’t sufficient. I had to at least select “Badges”.

    I’m also running iOS 18.3.2

Thank you. That worked though I think it is foolish for an app to require notifications to be turned on.

Had this issue pop up and to confirm, yes its the notifications…. hope it’s fixed in a future update as I don’t like having them on most all of my apps.

Glad someone figured it out. Too bad it wasn’t the programmers.

I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. That got it reconnected.
    A pity that was necessary
