I purchased and installed the XT 4 outlet timer and hub. Had it up and running in five minutes. That was in Chattanooga TN. Yesterday I drove about 600 miles away. When I pull up the Bhyve app in FL, it displays the timer and hub under “Devices” yet the (see image) Timer shows as disconnected and the hub as connected. Obviously, I’m on a different server then, when I set it up in TN.
Is there anyway I can connect remotely at a distance? Orbit claims that The product can be managed “Anywhere”. For me, it was the whole point in purchasing the product
Resolved the issue. I contacted a neighbor at the property in question and while on the phone we found that he could not manually program the timer. I assume it was because I was still connected. I was hesitant to delete my account and start over again, so I asked him to remove and reinstall the batteries. That action reset my connection and I was able to then control the unit from 600 miles away. I hope that’s helpful for someone.
