App in calendar will say that irrigation will start but zone says soil moisture will be 100%. Then the controller will not start. The soil moisture doesn’t seem to change during the day. I’ve seen it drop and then go back up to 100%. Does this system have diagnostics that can detect memory issues? Where does someone start to troubleshoot these things?

Is it set to “Smart water”? Is that what is happening and the question?

Personally, I have not had great luck with smart watering as it under waters for me, despite many soil-setting experiments. I use it only for the area that is mostly cactus

Yes, it’s the smart water that seems to be not working. I bought a “smart’ irrigation system so i could utilized the “smart” function. Thanks for your input. At this point I would not recommend Orbit B-Hyve because it is to unpredictable. Documentation is poor as well as support. Twice I have called and told I would be called back, never to have a call back.

If they could explain how without rain or irrigation how the soil Moisture will go from less than 50% to 100% overnight, it might explain something.
