I’ve bhyve wifi hub and smart hose faucet timer, and 1 samsung A52s with android 13 and an old iphone 62 with ios.
on android, since the update on android13, I get no more notifications.
    on ios, all is fine.

Sent a lot of emails to Orbit, never replied…

Notifications have stopped working for me a long time ago in iOS…

At least they fixed the calendar view this year, maybe this will get fixed as well at some point in the future?

I’ve had this issue and also got no response from Orbit. But, for Android app, I found that deleting the app cache and data, then logging back into the app, I was able to restore the notifications.

So in Android settings, go to Apps, then go to Bhyve, then click on Storage.

You have two options, to Clear Data, and Clear Cache. I can’t remember which of the two was the one that did it for me. Try just deleting the cache first, restarting phone, and if that doesn’t resolve it, do the data. If that still doesn’t resolve it, try doing both, then uninstalling the app, rebooting, and then reinstalling. I’m 95% certain this will help you.

Boooooo and thumbs down to Orbit for allowing the app to still do this to us and for not better supporting us!

unfortunately I’ve already tried uninstalling, clearing cache and files, removing and reinstalling the timer…only once did I get a notification after a manual watering, right after reinstalling both the app and the timer. There’s definitely something that breaks after installation that needs to be fixed. Orbit’s silence is shameful.

Joining the “no notifications” thread to report that I opened the app to change watering time and found that the battery charge had gotten low enough THREE DAYS AGO to stop both automated and manual watering. Not thrilled that my veg patch missed 3 watering cycles because notifications aren’t working on Android 13.
