I’ve been trying to get 1 of my 2 hose end timers to report Water History. I have spent HOURS on the phone and/or chatting with customer support. Every agent has a different answer, but usually say to delete device and re-add device which doesn’t work. I’ve replaced the timer with a new one 2x’s and it still doesn’t show history. I have a PHYN system that I can check to see if it actually ran, but then what’s the point of Bhyve’s Watering History in the app? Oh, and I bought these timers because I’m usually not at the property and want to make sure it waters remotely. The support people are nice enough but helpless in solving issues. It’s basically Orbit’s version of the IT guy the says reboot it. EXTREMELY unhappy and frustrated with their support.

This has been an ongoing issue with their b-hyve faucet device since at least May 2023 for me and many many others. Orbit has still not resolved. Bad software bug they introduced in the spring.

I am assuming they contract out their IT services and should consider a new provider given how incompetent they are to resolve this issue. Been more than 3 months so don’t have high hopes they will ever resolve.

I’m a little gunshy about watering remotely. Our Model 21005 Hose Timer had been working splendidly for years. We used it to give our garden a 10-minute squirt while on road trips many states away.

Then one day we turned it on for our usual 10-minute squirt before leaving. When we came back a few hours later it was still running!

We turned off the water supply, of course.

The Hose Timer had failed; we never got it to work properly again. This failure mode could have caused damage if we had been on a road trip and it had run for days!
