Has anyone torn down these products and thought about writing open source firmware for the timers and hubs, and a new app? Something along the lines of DD-WRT for routers or OpenTX for hobby radios? Not a small task, but interesting nonetheless. 🙂 Also, does anyone know of a whitepaper that explains the B-hyve network architecture? Someone suggested that it is strictly Bluetooth between timer and hub, and WiFi between hub and phone, but it would be nice to know how the communication works.
