I have 3 of the Orbit Heavy-Duty Fabric Hose’s that I bought in Spring of this year 2024. This week I had my yard aerated and started twice a day watering and Im using a 4 port and 1 port BHyve timer. I noticed that the 3 zones with oscillating sprinklers using the Orbit Heavy-Duty Fabric Hose had significantly less coverage than my older ‘normal’ rubber hoses and by significant Im talking 40% less coverage. Because of this I would have to move the hose locations numerous times to keep my new seed watered. I tried to call customer service and they just said “The hose is acting as it should”… I have a lot of orbit equipment and Im typically happy with it. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with these hoses or am I alone?
I’ll say this has been VERY aggravating on my end and disappointing considering how expensive the hoses were.
