All of a sudden, after years of proper sequencing, when zone two kicks in, zone one continues to run. How do I fix that?

Does B-hyve say both zones are running, or are you just seeing water coming out of your emitters? If the latter, I wonder if zone one valve is sticking?

Check the two zones with a voltmeter at the B-Hyve controller. You should 24 to 26v AC between com and the zone contact. I would guess it’s the valve sticking. Once zone 2 closes there will be more pressure to shut zone 1. If so, unscrew the solenoid, clean it, oil it, replace if necessary.

Thanks, why didn’t I think of that?
