ParticipantIn order to receive rain delays smart watering for the device must be enabled which can be found under Settings->Devices->Device Details (this is different than enabling smart watering programs for your individual zones). Additionally the rain delay is set based on the forecast of your weather station and will determine a need for a rain delay based upon both the rain delay percentage and depth requirements being met in the forecast, and updates every night. Additionally you may manually set a rain delay at any time by pressing the rain delay button on the home screen of your app.

ParticipantCurrently the timer is only compatible with 2.4 GHz networks which is why the 5 GHz network is not visible. Check your router settings to make sure that there is no MAC filtering enabled that would keep you from pairing to a new device. If you are able change your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 with 8.8.4.4 as a back-up. If still unable to connect please contact directly via the customer support line.

Participantkgambon, as long as the timer is running how it is supposed to that may just be a display issue with the app, please look for an update (1.7.26) that is coming out soon which should resolve this issue.

Participantchrisplak, there currently is no way to specify which days you want certain zones to water on smart watering. Smart watering should not schedule to water during a no watering time, could you please provide your MAC address so that I can check and update your firmware if necessary.

ParticipantIt looks like you are currently connected and the firmware is up to date. If you are able, edit your DNS settings on your router to 8.8.8.8 with 8.8.4.4 as a back-up. there is not much else we can do from here outside of the firmware so if you continue to have problems please contact our product support line.

ParticipantRandallFosler, Orbit timers are set up to work with rain sensors that operate as a normally closed circuit, and then send a rain delay signal when there is a break in the circuit. I cannot say how your current sensor operates, but it will need to be a normally closed operation to be compatible. If it is a two-wire sensor then it needs to be hooked up in series with your common wire, not to the rain sensor terminals which are used for wireless rain sensors.

ParticipantUnfortunately there is no way to remove individual events from the watering history, if you wish to delete the entire watering history you can de authorize the timer from your account, and then pair it again as a new device.
