    @Smaug, been out of town with spotty coverage, but now my battery readings are all 100%, so something happened. We definitely have different hardware:

    Four Port Timers – Hardware version: HT34-0001 Firmware version: 58
    Single Port Timer – Hardware version: HT31-0001 Firmware version: 58
    Hubs – Hardware version: BH1G2-0001 Firmware version: 0027

    Wait, how come some device information shows firmware version 0041 and others show 0058? Mine are all 0058 and the battery level shows N/A.

    Good point. Even still, if the valve switching sucks power, two alkalines isn’t going to cut it for a season.

    I started another thread about this. That’s interesting that you use Energizer lithium batteries, which I was wondering about. I’ll probably use them next year. With all the work this thing does (WiFi, Bluetooth), I wouldn’t think two regular alkaline AAs would cut it.
