How to troubleshoot No AC error message

The “No AC” message means there is no electrical power flowing to the B-hyve device, which could be due to no connection, a bad connection or a power outage.

If you know the rest of your home is receiving power, then we can cross power outages off our possible cause list and move on to the other possibilities.

First, can we try plugging something else into the same outlet that the B-hyve device is plugged in to? If you’re able to use a radio or alarm clock or some other device in the same outlet, then we know the outlet is working.

If the power outlet is working  then we’d like to try power cycling the B-hyve device. Half the time, a simple power cycle of the B-hyve device will help address this issue. To do this, unplug your B-hyve device for 5-10 seconds, and then plug your B-hyve device back in. The B-hyve device display should come back on.

If you still see “No AC”, then we’d like you to reset the gray ribbon cable located on the inside of the swing panel of the B-hyve device. To do this, simply unplug the gray ribbon cable from the B-hyve device’s power board, leave it out for about 5-10 seconds, and then plug it back in. When unplugging the cable, try to place your fingers as close to the connector as possible.
