The issue has resolved itself. I was not able to take any action remotely to address this and I did not reach out to Orbit. However, I checked my connectivity last night and the App was showing that I was not connected (yet my router still showed the B-Hyve was connected to the router via WiFi). This morning, I spotted my sprinklers watering the lawn on my webcam so I checked in with the App and found that the “connection error” was gone and I had a green check next to my sprinkler system and it said the connection was good.

What I’m learning is that there are some intermittent and persistent cloud issues between our systems and the App and to simply wait things out and they will take care of themselves.

I removed my watering restrictions and rain delays and the App still will not schedule Smart Watering.

I’m not home at the moment to see what it says on the device, but from my App, the Hardware is the WT25G2-0001. It is a 6 station unit. I believe I have the B-hyve Smart Indoor/Outdoor.

Question for everyone who has Smart Watering working now. Do you see the upcoming Smart Watering schedule in the Calendar?

I have firmware 0087 and iOS 3.0.28 Build:1112. I do not see the Smart Watering schedule in the Calendar and it is forecasted to be hot and dry around here and my soil moisture is currently showing 38%-65% moisture. I would expect with those numbers to see some planned watering in the next few days. In “Zone Details”, all my zones show “Next Watering: Not Scheduled”. It used to show the next Smart Watering day.

As of June 1, when I look back at my history for the past 5 days, I now see data that I did not see yesterday or the day before. It appears that watering history data is being reported and soil moisture content is being reported. It appears that Orbit is working on the problem and may have resolved the issue.

Just adding some clarity to my previous post. The only water history I get is if I manually “test’ a zone. That gets logged in the history and has a measurable impact on the App’s display of my soil moisture.

What does not get captured in the watering history for me are: 1.) Smart Watering, 2.) Program Slot schedules. I have not verified whether Smart Watering is taking place or not. I have verified that Program Slot watering does work as scheduled, but it has no impact on the App’s computation of soil moisture content and does not appear in my watering history.

Based on all the information presented above by users, old, new and reset systems, it appears to me that Orbit will have to fix something and one post above indicates they know about it and are working on it. Perhaps there is a “break” in communication or data access with their cloud service provider (AWS, Microsoft, etc.) and the computations are simply not running for all users as they once were.

Smart watering stopped scheduling watering sessions for me in Mid-May. I too have switched to manual watering. My “test” waterings are showing up in the history. My % moisture is registering after I run a test watering. Right now, all my zones are showing 0% water except the two I did short tests in. My watering history shows nothing for about 1.5 weeks which may explain why the moisture content of most of my zones is 0%.

My theory is that something has stopped running on Orbot’s cloud service for all of us.
