How to fix a non-responsive Hose Faucet Timer

If you have a B-hyve Hose Timer that is not working, this guide should help you.

This is often the result of water intrusion. While it is connected to a source of water, the Hose Timer is water-resistant, not waterproof. We do recommend immediately removing it from the faucet should it become non-responsive, opening the battery compartment and allowing it to air-dry before trying to re-use it. When re-installing the battery tray, we strongly suggest pressing firmly against the battery tray to ensure it’s securely closed.

In addition, there are a few steps that can help address this, if water intrusion is not the cause, starting with swapping out the batteries in the hose timer for new ones. When you insert the batteries, be sure to check they’re facing the right direction, are fully seated, and when you insert the tray that it’s fully sealed shut.

If the Hose Timer is still unresponsive, try resetting the device by pressing the B-hyve button five times. When you press the button, you should see the LED next to it light up. If this still does not work, click here to request a replacement device.
