I have this problem too since this spring. Last year was working very well for both manual or program watering. This year, it misses the record here and there. It happened two days ago after the program watering completed. I did try to delete the faucet and re-added, still not record once a while. Could be Orbit server issue ?

I am still using the Gen. 1 hub and hose faucet. My home is in Boston and I monitored it in Chicago without any problem at all. I used both programs and manual watering. They worked fine for me.

No need to update the firmware, 0041 is the latest.

According to the user manual, timer flow rate calibration is based on “free flowing”, not fully hooked up.

Before you purchased this product, did you see that product application pictures ? This timer was never designed with any mounting bracket to start with. It was designed to screw onto the faucet, similar to other brand timers.

Not sure Orbit will give you the 3D model of the external case, this is their design (property).

According to the “Device Help” page in the app (My-Bhyve –> Help –> Device Help), “Flashes Blue every 2 seconds for 10 minutes” is “Unprovisioned”. To fix this issue, “To start again, pull battery or factory reset (push on/off button 5x)”.

Just a guest, try to delete the faucet which only connected to BT. Then re-add it back. During the “device add” steps, you will be prompted to connect the “new” device via either BT or Wifi. You are going to select Wifi.

I also saw the firmware update notice, but I had hard time to update the firmware. I tried the update a few times and always failed at the point where “installing firmware” appeared. Then I heard a couple clicks inside the faucet and the LED went off. After that the BlueTooth connecting screen appeared and stuck there until timeout. The “something went wrong” showed up. I powered cycle the faucet and it reconnected back to the hub. Firmware did not update to 41, stil at 0041.
Don’t know the difference between these 2 firmware. I will stay at 0041 as it works for 2 years.
