If it’s working, then you won’t need new batteries – it’ll tell you if low battery power is the issue. You should only have 1 hub for 14 timers. You can have something like 32 timers per hub. If you can load the timer in the app, then there doesn’t seem to be a networking issue. Even if there is a networking issue, the pre-set timer and settings is store in the individual devices, not the app. So you can have the faucet disconnect from the network, and it will still keep on going as per the last schedule sent to the device (someone please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).
Which firmware are all your devices on? Which models are they?
::I think if Smart Watering is disabled on each device (definitely double check), there are no weather delays manually set (also double check), firmware is up to date on each faucet (v0041), then try unplugging the USB hub and plugging back in, and removing a battery from each faucet to force it to ‘reboot’. If the problem still persists then you’ve found a new bug. In which case, since it effects yourself and no one else, try and return to the store and get a refund on warranty, because no one here seems to get support from Orbit anymore. I don’t think I’ve ever got any replies from their support of any meaningful substance.
::Which hubs exactly do you mean? I notice that the Bhyve is working okay for me just now with faucet controllers, but maybe there are different servers in different continents. I have had issues with the app before on android, you can try deleting cache the app in the Apps area, via the android settings area. Under ‘Storage’, there’s a couple options of types of data – user data and cache data, maybe you have to delete both. You could also try rebooting your home router, and unplugging your USB bhyve hub and plugging back in again.
::I’ve had this issue and also got no response from Orbit. But, for Android app, I found that deleting the app cache and data, then logging back into the app, I was able to restore the notifications.
So in Android settings, go to Apps, then go to Bhyve, then click on Storage.
You have two options, to Clear Data, and Clear Cache. I can’t remember which of the two was the one that did it for me. Try just deleting the cache first, restarting phone, and if that doesn’t resolve it, do the data. If that still doesn’t resolve it, try doing both, then uninstalling the app, rebooting, and then reinstalling. I’m 95% certain this will help you.
Boooooo and thumbs down to Orbit for allowing the app to still do this to us and for not better supporting us!
::I found the “hasn’t responded within 30 seconds” error on the weekend after installing a new zone with a new controller. I don’t think my phone was getting very good wifi at that point. When I walked closer to the house to ‘test’ my new zone, I did not get the error. Only when I walked to the far end of the garden, away from the wifi router, did I get this message. Ordinarily I don’t get this message as I’m using the app closer to the house. Also my phone will auto-switch to 5G when wifi starts to drop-off, by choice, nowadays due to 5G being very fast, and having a ridiculous data plan, so I don’t forcefully make my phone use wifi. Happy for it to switch to 5G. Only some things relating to home networking like bhyve will ultimately get confused as to whether it’s connecting via wifi directly, or whether it should be connecting via the remote bhyve servers. Are you sure you were within range of your wifi and your phone not switching in and our of 4G/5G?
::I cannot create a new thread to report this error, but there is an error when posting a new topic in Bhyve app, for some reason. See attached. Apologies as this isn’t directly related to this thread, but I can’t create a new one obviously! The error message does not explain what the issue is and there is no guidance on the forum as to what topics can and can’t be created.

You must be logged in to view attached files.::I am also having an issue where I’ve manually run a zone today, trying to water in some fertiliser. I can’t remember how long I ran it for, and the rain appears to no longer be coming. The app shows that it hasn’t run since a few days ago, but it definitely did run earlier. I have no way to tell how long it ran for now, so I have to be safe and run closer to a full cycle to make sure the fertiliser is washed into the soil.
Frustrating! Orbit, how do these bugs creep into new app versions?
