B-hyve General Connectivity Troubleshooting
The following troubleshooting steps are intended to help with common issues such as:
- WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity
- Battery Life not reporting correctly
- The date and time aren’t correct
- Device is non-responsive
Rebooting the B-hyve Device
Rebooting your device can help with connectivity issues, as well as any display issues.
For underground timers:
- Unplug it from its power source for 30 seconds
- Then plug the timer back into the power source
For hose timers:
- Remove the battery tray from the timer for 15-20 seconds
- Reinsert the battery tray, making sure to push it in all the way to ensure no moisture gets inside the body of the timer
Factory resetting
The steps for factory resetting a B-hyve device varies, please click here and you will be taken to a page with steps for each device.
After resetting a B-hyve device, if the device was already connected to your account you will need to reconnect your timer/hub back to your wifi network.
For the B-hyve underground timers and WiFi Hub:
- Open the B-hyve application
- Tap on my B-hyve on the lower left-hand corner
- Select devices
- Tap the device you just reset
- Tap update wifi settings and select your WiFi and then enter your WiFi password to reconnect
For the B-hyve Hose timers:
- Open the B-hyve application
- Tap the WiFi symbol in the top left corner and select Connect Bluetooth
- Tap the Bluetooth icon and then Disconnect Bluetooth
