Programming Your B-hyve XD without an app

Programming at the unit itself:

You can program this timer without any connection to the app. You will simply use the dial to select your settings.

  1. Set Clock – This is the current time of day
    1. Rotate the dial to the “Set Clock” position, and then press in on the dial.
    2. Rotate the dial to the current hour, take note of the AM and PM setting. Press the dial to accept that hour.
    3. Rotate the dial to the current minutes. Press in on the dial to accept those minutes.
  2. Start Time – This is the time of day you’d like your system to turn on.
    1. Rotate the dial to the “Start Time” position on the timer, then press in on the dial.
    2. Rotate the dial first to select the hour of day. Please note the AM and PM. Press in on the dial to accept the hour
    3. Rotate the dial for the minutes you’d like to run. If you want it to start at the top of the hour (e.g 3:00 AM), press in on the dial with the time at 00.
    4. Press in on the dial again to accept the start time.
    5. If your timer has multiple outlets, press the Zone button to swap to the next zone, and repeat the steps above.
  3.  How Long – This is the amount of minutes this system will run
    1. Rotate the dial to the “How Long” position on the timer, then press in on the dial.
    2. Rotate the dial to the amount of minutes you’d like your system to run (Anywhere from 1 to 240 minutes).
    3. Press in on the dial to accept that run time.
    4. If your timer has multiple outlets, Press the zone button to swap to the next zone, and repeat the steps above
  4. How Often – This setting is the interval between watering days. Note: 7 days means it will water once every 7 days, not every day of the week.
    1. Rotate the dial to the “How Often” position
    2. Select your interval. You can run every 1, 3, 6, or 12 hours or once every 1-7 days.

If you would like to water on specific days of the week, you will need to download the B-hyve app and use the “Advanced Programming” option instead.
